Newspaper

The Philippines has more than 20 daily national newspapers in English, Tagalog and Chinese. The principal newspaper nationwide are The Philippine Star, Philippine Daily Inquirer and the Manila Bulletin.

All over the archipelago there are many local newspapers, the primary regionalized newspaper group is The Sunstar.

International newspapers such as the International Herald Tribune, Time Magazine and Newsweek are published in the Philippines.

The Philippines major cities now have one of the largest selection of television programs in the world since the introduction of cable television. Local television channels both in English and Tagalog are easily available throughout the Philippines including remote areas.
